In the final of the Challenge Cup in front of 13.000 home fans, Olympiacos Piraeus emerged victorious also in the second leg match with a clear 3-0 (25:16, 25:21, 25:16) securing the trophy…and also making history, because they are the first Greek team to do so!

Rafail Koumentakis led the game in scoring with 13 points through 71% in attack, while Gustavo Guazzelli (7 winning blocks!) and Toncek Stern also contributed with 11 points each, and Salvador Hidalgo added 10 points for the winners, who made the difference above all in blocking, scoring as many as 15 points from this element!
Tel Aviv’s top scorer was Alexander Safonov with 10 points.
