Poland: Andrea Gardini renews contract with Bełchatów for another season

A few weeks ago, Andrea Gardini was appointed as the head coach of Plusliga side PGE Skra Bełchatów, and since then, the team has shown a significant improvement following a so-far disappointing season that is worth the 11 the place in the standings.
And now, it has been confirmed that Gardini will continue to lead the team also in the upcoming season.
The 57-year-old Italian was one of the greatest players in Italian volleyball history, with three world titles, two Olympic medals, and over 400 matches played for the Italian national team.
After retiring from playing, he quickly became a volleyball coach, and began his career as an assistant to Andrea Anastasi in the Polish national team before move to Indykpol AZS Olsztyn, ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle, Gas Sales Piacenza, and Jastrzębski Węgiel.
He won the Polish Champion titles twice with ZAKSA and Jastrzębski.
