Poland: 3 points for leaders Asseco Resovia in second game of Round 28

After an advance played yesterday, in which Trefl Gdańsk won in straight sets on the field
of GKS Katowice, Round 28 of 2022/23 Plusliga continued today with another game in which leaders Asseco Resovia Rzeszów won on the field of PSG Stal Nysa by 1-3 (18:25, 25:27, 25:22, 17:25).

After easily won first set and losing the second over time, the visiting team had no major problem to take these three points that are worth, at this moment, a +4 lead from pursuers Jastrzębski Węgiel (61 points in the standings and a big match to be played on Sunday against PGE Skra Bełchatów) and Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie (60 points, and ready to welcome tomorrow Barkom Każany Lwów).
Outside hitters Torej Defalco and Klemen Čebulj shared the title as top scorers of the game with 17 points each (four aces for the first one), while MVP award went to Jakub Kochanowski, author of 9 points, 3 aces and 2 winning blocks.
The winners were in fact decisive from the service line, scoring 13 points from this element.
