The penultimate Round of 2022/23 Plusliga, Round 29, continued today waiting for tomorrow’s postponement between PGE Skra Bełchatów and Indykpol AZS Olsztyn.

And continued also the exciting battle for the top of the standings!
The day started in fact with the clash between Asseco Resovia Rzeszów and Trefl Gdańsk. To win the game are the hosts, who celebrated a hard fought 3-1 (25:27, 25:22, 25:18, 28:26) victory, a result that push Resovia to the top again, now at +2 from Jastrzębski Węgiel and +3 from Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie, who celebrated their respective victories (together with 3 points each) yesterday.
To make the difference today are Maciej Muzaj, top scorer of the match with 26 points through 54% in attack and 5 winning blocks, 20 points from Torey DeFalco, and 13 winning blocks compared to only 4 of Gdańsk.

All easy for Champions League semifinalists Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle, who literally destroy GKS Katowice with a clear 3-0 (25:22, 25:14, 25:16). Better in all elements, the winners were led in score by Bartosz Bednorz, top scorer of the game with 21 points to his name through 67% in attack (52% efficiency), 2 blocks and 5 aces.

Close the picture the twelfth win a row of Projekt Warszawa, who defeat at home PSG Stal Nysa at tie break (25:17, 16:25, 18:25, 25:17). With 13 winning blocks (7 by Yurii Semeniuk) and 11 aces (5 by Niels Klapwijk), MVP awards went to libero Damian Wojtaszek.
