Poland: Olsztyn close Round 29 with 3 points! No playoffs for Bełchatów!

Penultimate Round of 2022/23 Plusliga, Round 29, has been closed today with a great upset: Indykpol AZS Olsztyn straight sets win on the field of PGE Skra Bełchatów (23:25, 19:25, 22:25).
Only mathematics could save the losing side, who now is officially out of playoffs with 39 points and a disappointing 10th place in the standings, -5 from No.8 PSG Stal Nysa.
The man of the match was Karol Butryn, who ended the game as absolute top scorer with 21 points to his name through 57% in attack, 2 winning blocks, 3 of his team’s 10 aces and his 7th MVP award of the season.
And the winners, on the other hand, consolidated (and remained) to the seventh place in the standings.
With all playoffs partecipants already known, decisive Round 30 will be played spread from March 31 to April 3.
