Poland: Gdańsk stop Warszawa! 3 points for Olsztyn in an irrilevant game vs. Czarni Radom

Although all teams qualified for up coming playoffs and their position are already know, Round 30 of 2022/23 Plusliga, the last one, continued today with other two games.

Projekt Warszawa’s impressive winning streak consisting in 13 games come into a end today, and the team who did it is Trefl Gdansk, able to close the game at tie break (21:25, 25:17, 25:23, 15:25, 15:12).
Mikołaj Sawicki and Bartłomiej Bołądź were the most prolific players on the winning side with 23 and 22 points respectively, and both added 4 aces each of their team’s 10, while Linus Weber in Wrszawa’s jersey ended the game ad top scorer with 26 points to his name through 62% in attack. Libero Luke Perry, who had 64% of positive reception and 43% perfect, was named MVP.

In the evening Indykpol AZS Olsztyn defeated Cerrad Enea Czarni Radom without any problem after losing first set by 3-1 (24:26, 25:21, 25:13, 25:21).

Round 30 will be closed tomorrow with last two games.
