Italy: Piacenza defeat Milano again in final 3rd place – 2-0 in series and a big step towards Champions League

After a clear straight sets win in Game 1, Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza inflicted to Allianz Milano, this time on the field of the rivals, the same treatment (24:26, 19:25, 23:25) in second act of final for third place and a consequent ticket for the next edition of Champions League (the fourth-placed will play in the CEV Cup).
After struggling in first sets, won overtime and after a comeback from 16-11, Piacenza react and played a very good game, above all in decisive moments of the game.
Also in third set, in which they wasted a 13-19 led and suffered the comeback of Milano but, eventually, they managed to win the game 23-25 with an attack by Simon and a block
by top scorer Romanó (15 points at end of the match, one less than MVP Leal).
