After winning Game 1 of 2022/23 AXA Sigorta Efeler Ligi Final series, and losing the following two matches, regular season leaders Halkbank return to the victory by beating Ziraat Bankkart Ankara in four sets on the road (23:25, 20:25, 25:19, 16:25).
Halkbank won a thrilling first set and dominated the second, but the hosts, led by a great Wouter Ter Maat (he will close the game as absolute top scorer with 26 points, 67% in attack, 3 winning blocks and 1 ace), easily won the third also taking advantage of a lapse of concentration of the rivals. However, with a sovereign performance in fourth set, Halkbank managed to win the game and with it the chance of playing the decisive clash in front of their home fans.
