European Silver League: Hungary join Latvia to final! Cyprus defeated at Golden Set!

After a four sets defeat on Wednesday on the field of the rivals, Hungary reverse the results and down Cyprus on their home court with the same score in second leg of 2023 European Silver League semifinal (25:13, 25:16, 25:27, 25:16). With the only exception of third set, the game was one-sided, and eventually the hosts managed to win also golden set, ended 15-12 to take the last ticket for final, in which they’ll face Latvia, who eliminated Austria without major problems.
Gabor Bögöly ended the game as top scorer with 22 points through 52% in attack, while Bence Ambrus also contributed with 3 of his team winning blocks, 2 aces and 75% in attack (12 points).
First leg of Final in Hungary is scheduled on Thursday, July 7.
