European Silver League: Latvia destroy Austria in first leg of first semifinal

Semifinals of 2023 European Silver League started today in Graz with first leg match between hosts Austria and Latvia.
The visiting side easily defeated the rivals with a clear 0-3 (19:25, 19:25, 19:25) and an excellent 68% in attack compared to the rivals’ 42, and four players in double digit: Atvars Ozolinš with 15 points including 1 block and 1 ace and 62% in attack, Renars Jansons, who also contributed with 14, and Kristaps Smit, with 13.
Te only player in double digin in Austria’s jersey was the top scorer of the match Michael Czerwinski with 16 points through 56% in attack.
Second leg in Latvia will be played on Wednesday, June 28.
