Superlega powerhouse A.S. Volley Lube announced that middle blocker Simone Anzani underwent a successful ablation procedure at San Raffaele Hospital in Milan.
The surgery was performed by Professor Paolo Della Bella and Dr. Caterina Bisceglia.
The player is reportedly in good condition and his recovery is progressing well. His discharge from the hospital is anticipated in the coming hours, and he is also scheduled for a fitness test in the following weeks to assess his readiness to return to the court.
