Egypt and Algeria to final of African Championship in Cairo!

The thrilling Grand Finale of the African Nations Volleyball Championship is set in Cairo, and hosts Egypt and Algeria have emerged as the teams to compete for the prestigious title.
In semifinal Algeria faced the great Libya. Both teams were unbeaten, and the fierce battle extended to five exciting sets, ultimately seeing Algeria clinch a hard-fought victory with a score of 3-2 (18:25, 25:15, 33:35, 25:22, 15:11).
Ahmed Ikhbayriās impressive 37 points for Libya werenāt enough to earn them a spot in the final.
For the winners, Soufiane Hosni wad the most prolific player with 27 points to his name, well supported by Boudjemaa Ikken with 24 and Billel Soualem with 15 points.
On the other semifinal, the host nation Egypt, showcased their dominance in the clash against Cameroon.
Egypt came out on top with a 3-1 win (25:13, 25:23, 20:25, 29:27) in a game with moments of high tension. Ahmed Shafikās great performance of 23 points, supported by Reda Haikalās 21 and Mohamed Moustafa Issaās 12, led Egypt to the final. Yvan Arthur Kody was the top scorer for Cameroon, scoring 21 points.
The Grand Finale will be played on September 13, where Egypt and Algeria will battle for the title.
Meanwhile, Libya and Cameroon are set to compete for the bronze medal.
