Unbeaten teams cruise to Top 6 in the 19th Asian Games Volleyball Tournament

The 19th Asian Games Men’s Volleyball Tournament saw an exciting Round of Last 12, with all top six unbeaten teams, China, Iran, India, Pakistan, Qatar, and Japan, collecting victories, ensuring their position in the coveted Top 6 berths.
India, probably the underdogs considering their previous rankings, defeated Chinese Taipei in a straight-set victory (25:22, 25:22, 25:21), a result that comes after their previous upset against Korea, proving their great shape in the competition.
Japan, despite fielding a B team, showcased all their prowess, comfortably beating Kazakhstan to secure their spot in the Top 6.
The game ended in straight sets too,
partially 25:22, 25:21 and 25:15.
Iran, consistent champions in the Asian games and sitting in the world ranking at No. 11, once again displayed their dominance by destroying Thailand in straight sets (25:21, 25:18, 25:16).
Qatar, in a more hard-fought match, overcame Bahrain to move forward in the tournament, 3-1 (25:23, 18:25, 25:19, 25:17) while China, keeping their unbeaten streak alive, fought hard against Indonesia, taking a 3-1 victory too (25:17, 25:17, 23:25, 25:22).
Close the picture Pakistan, who beat Korea in just three sets (25:19, 22:25, 21:25).
