Poland: Round 6 continues – tie break win for Resovia and new leaders Warszawa, 3 for Olstzyn

After two advances played yesterday, Round 6 of 2023/24 Plusliga continued today with other three games, two of them ended at tie break.

The only one team who earned 3 points today was Indykpol AZS Olsztyn, who down newcomers Exact Systems Hemarpol Częstochowa after a hard-fought 3-1 (21:25, 27:25, 25:21, 26:24), with 22 points from Alan Souza and 20 by top scorer Moritz Karlitzek (3 aces, 1 block and 59% in attack) while Dawid Dulski, absolute top scorer of the match, put down 28 points with the jersey of Częstochowa.
Close the picture an exciting clash between current leaders Projekt Warszawa and now No.4 BOGDANKA LUK Lublin, ended 3-2 (27:25, 20:25, 23:25, 25:16, 15:12) in favor of the hosts who now sit to the top of the current standings, waiting for Jastrzębski Węgiel, who tomorrow will face last-placed Enea Czarni Radom.
Bartłomiej Bołądź, top scorer of the game with 23 points to his name through 50% in attack, 1 blocks and as many as 5 aces, was decisive for this win, even if MVP award went to Igor Grobelny for his almost perfect performance: 17 points through 75% in attack and 2 aces.
Round 6 will close tomorrow with last three games.
