3 min read

The volleyball year 2023 is almost over with first four games of Powerfusion Austrian Volley League Round 12, all ended in straight sets.
Current leaders TSV Raiffeisen Hartberg prevailed over TJ Sokol V/Post SV Wien (25:17, 25:17, 25:19), defending champions HYPO TIROL volleyball team had no problems on the field of UVC McDonald’s Ried (25:18, 25:18, 25:13), UVC Holding Graz fully lived up to their role as favorite against VBK Wörther-See-Löwen Klagenfurt (25:20, 25:17, 25:14) while SK Zadruga Aich/Dob extended its successful run against Union Raiffeisen Waldviertel (25:18, 25:15, 25:22) and celebrated its seventh league win in a row!
HYPO TIROL shone in Ried with an excellent performance above all in attack and blocking performance, but also with a strong service.
After their clear home win over Klagenfurt, Graz are now only one point behind the third-placed Waldviertel team, who were unable to collect points for the first time since the first round, while Aich/Dob are two points behind them after their convincing victory.
VCA Amstetten NÖ and VBC TLC Weiz will face each others on Sunday at 4:30 p.m.), and the second-to-last team will host the last-placed while, on Monday, HYPO TIROL will face Graz in a delayed match of Round 5 to remain unbeaten.
Austrian Cup semi-final will take place before Christmas, on December 20th and 21st: Aich/Dob welcomes Waldviertel for the second time in four days, while Hartberg and HYPO TIROL will fight for the other ticket to the final!
