Champions League: straight sets win for Guaguas over Praha in first game of playoffs

Playoffs of 2023/24 CEV Champions League started today with a thrilling game between Guaguas Las Palmas and VK Lvi Praha, from Czech Republic.
Despite the game played at Centro Insular de Deportes Las Palmas, Spain, ended in straight sets, it was an intense clash lasted 95 minutes in which all sets ended with the minimum gap, 3-0 (25:23, 25:23, 26:24).
Nicolas Bruno ended the game as top scorer tallying 18 points for the winners including 2 winning blocks and an impressive 76% in attack.
Tomorrow Berlin Recycling Volleys will face Tours VB, while defending champions Grupa Azoty Kędzierzyn-Kozle will welcome Halkbank Ankara.
