Gianlorenzo Blengini takes the helm of Bulgaria National Team

The Bulgarian Volleyball Federation has officially announced Gianlorenzo Blengini as the new head coach of Men’s national team, with a three-year contract and an option for a two-year extension.
Federation president Ljubomir Ganev expressed that his appointment stems from a desire to have a coach of authority, able to develope young talents and making the team competitive enough to aim for the Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
The federation emphasizes a year-round commitment to the national team, a practice gleaned from successful volleyball nations.
The Italian expert, whose coaching career began in 2000, brings a wealth of experience and a track record of success, including some with the Italian national team, and his role will extend beyond coaching to include the development of coaching capacities within Bulgaria and support for the youth national teams.
