The nightmarish season of Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle continued also today. After the elimination from Champions League, on Wednesday, today they suffered a heavy straight sets defeat on the field of GKS Katowice, 3-0 (25:10, 32:30, 25:19), who rise to 13th place.
Marcin Waliński earned MVP award scoring 12 points through 59% in attack and with 2 aces, the same number of points of his teammate Lukas Vasina, while Łukasz Usowicz and Jakub Jarosz added 10 each. 83% in attack with 3 winning blocks and 2 aces for the first one!
Only Bartłomiej Kluth reached a double digit for ZAKSA, who remain at 10th place in the standings, 10 points but with only 40% in attack.
Round 21 will continue tomorrow with other 3 games: No.6 BOGDANKA LUK Lublin will face No.2 Projekt Warszawa, Trefl Gdańsk will welcome PGE GiEK Skra Bełchatów while, in the evening, Barkom Każany Lwów will welcome No.3 Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie.
