Poland: Olsztyn and Lublin win games for 7th and 5th place

Placement clashes of 2023/24 Plusliga continued today with No.8 in regular season Indykpol AZS Olsztyn who down No.7 PSG Stal Nysa with the score of 3-1 (16:25, 25:21, 28:26, 25:20).
Szymon Jakubiszak left the court as top scorer and with MVP award with 18 points to his name including 3 aces, 71% in attack and 5 of his team’s 16 winning blocks.
In the evening, home win also for No.6 in regular season BOGDANKA LUK Lublin over No.5 Trefl Gdańsk for 5th place in the final standings, 3-0 (25:19, 25:19, 25:14), in front of more than 3000 home fans.
Marcin Komenda was named MVP of the game, while a great Alexandre Ferreira closed the match as top scorer with 14 points to his name through 80% in attack, 1 ace and 1 block.
