Poland: newcomers Będzin destroy Olsztyn in a delayed game of Round 4

Fragmented Round 4 of 2024/25 Plusliga continued today with the great win of newcomers Nowak-Mosty MKS Będzin over a disappointing Indykpol AZS Olsztyn.
The game, ended in just three sets, partially 25:20, 25:22 and 25:17, marks Będzin’s second seasonal win.
The winners, who won the game without problems, were led by top scorer and MVP Brandon Koppers, who left the court with 19 points to his name through 53% in attack, including 2 aces and 1 block, while Damian Schultz added 14.
For Olsztyn, who suffered the bad day of opposite Jan Hadrava (10 points but with 5 errors and only 29% in attack), Moritz Karlitzek was the most prolific player with 12 points (1 block and 58% in attack) and this was their 4th loss in 5 games played.
Round 4 will continue next week with last two scheduled games, and Plusliga’s Round 6 will start on Friday with two advances: Asseco Resovia Rzeszów will welcome GKS Katowice while, in the evening, titleholders Jastrzębski Węgiel will face Indykpol AZS Olsztyn themselves.
