Poland: Round 11 continues – Częstochowa stun Lublin. Warszawa win a marathon on the field of Olsztyn

After the advance played yesterday, in which newcomers Nowak-Mosty MKS Będzin defeated PSG Stal Nysa with the score of 3-1, Round 11 of 2024/25 Plusliga continued today with other two games.
In a stunning performance, Norwid Częstochowa defeated second-place Bogdanka LUK Lublin by 3-1 (25:20, 24:26, 25:16, 25:22).
Częstochowa’s Patrik Indra dominated the game with 24 points to his name, outshining Wilfredo Leon, on the other side of the net. Known for toppling league giants, today’s winners has now secured wins over several of the league’s powerhouses, rising to 5th in the current charts!
Meanwhile, in another clash, PGE Projekt Warszawa narrowly defeated relegation-zoned Indykpol AZS Olsztyn with the score of 2-3 (26:24, 22:25, 28:26, 23:25, 14:16). Despite being down two sets, the team from country’s capital managed to make an impressive comeback to secured the win, led by MVP Bartłomiej Bołądź, who left the court with 22 points, driving his team to a hard-earned victory.
Plusliga will continue tomorrow with other 3 games: ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle will welcome Jastrzębski Węgiel in a Plusliga classic, Ślepsk Malow Suwałki will face last season’s runners up Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie while, in the evening, PGE GiEK Skra Bełchatów – Barkom Każany Lwów.
