Austria: Hypo Tirol and Hartberg 2-0 in their semifinal series!

Both semifinal series of 2024/25 Powerfusion VL Men are 2-0 with defending champions HYPO TIROL volleyball team and TSV Raiffeisen Hartberg just one win away from final.

The first one won with the score of 0-3 (21:25, 17:25, 27:29) on the field of UVC Holding Graz on Wednesday evening to stay undefeated this season. They dominated the first two sets, keeping a consistently high service pressure in front of over 900 volleyball fans in Graz but, in third set, the hosts reacted even boasting a +5 lead at 19:15.
However, in the decisive moments, the visitors were able to equalize the score to seal a win at their fifth match point.
The top scorers for the home team were Benedikt Sablatnig (16) and Arwin Kopschar (9), while Niklas Kronthaler and Kyle Hobus with 13 and 11 points, respectively, were the most prolific players for the winners.

TSV Raiffeisen Hartberg is also on track after beating SK Zadruga Aich/Dob away in four sets on the road, 1-3 (25:20, 18:25, 21:25, 23:25) and also leads 2-0.
For the winners, Lukas Glatz scored 22 points, while his teammate Đorđe Knezevic added 20. Aich/Dob’s Bryan Camino Martinez and Carlos Charles Santana each scored 13 points for Aich/Dob.
Both games 3 on Saturday.
