European Silver League: Sweden take first step towards 2025 title!

After losing first set at Messzi Istvan Sportcsarnok in Kecskemet, Pool Phase’s leaders Sweden take first step towards 2025 European Silver League title against the hosts Hungary, winning the game with the score of 1-3 (25:21, 20:25, 16:25, 15:25).
To make the difference a stunning performance in blocking, with the winners scoring as many as 21 points from this element compared to the rivals’ 8 as well as a better performance in attack (56% to 36%).
Viktor Lindberg led the charge with 18 points through 52% in attack, 2 blocks and 1 ace, while Jacob Ekman and Jacob Link also contributed with 14 each.
Second leg is scheduled on Sunday in Sweden.
