France: Tourcoing open Round 5 with a straight sets win over Toulouse

Round 5 of 2025/26 Marmara Spike League started today with the advance between Tourcoing and Toulouse, ended with a hard fought 3-0 (25:23, 30:28, 25:18) sweep in favor of the home team, who now shares (at least temporarily) the top of the standings together with Tours, both with 11 points.
Venislav Antov led the charge with 16 points to his name, while Philippe Tuitoga earned MVP honors contributing with 13 including 5 of his team’s 9 winning blocks and an impressive 89% in attack (8/9). Double digit also for Ignacio Luengas and Jan Martinez FranchiG who added 11 and 10 points, respectively.
Round 5 will continue tomorrow with other three clashes: Poitiers will welcome Plessis-Robinson, Nice will face Sète while Montpellier will welcome Tours in big match for first place in the standings!
