Poland: Round 7 continues – 3 points for Aluron and Jastrzębski

After the advance played yesterday, in which PGE GiEK SKRA Bełchatów down Steam Hemarpol Politechnika Częstochowa, Round 7 of 2025/26 Plusliga continued today with other two games.
Asseco Resovia Rzeszów couldn’t find their rhythm and fell in a clean 0-3 (17:25, 22:25, 18:25) to Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie. After starting the season with five wins, Resovia now suffer a second straight loss, while the winners stay to the top of current charts with their seventh victory, helped by two matches played in advance.
Karol Butryn led the home team with 12 points while, on the winning side, Aaron Russell scored 17, and MVP Bartosz Kwolek added 13 with 65% attack success. The visitors were sharper in attack (40%–50%), fired 13 aces, and controlled the net, although errors were high on both sides – 26 from the hosts and 23 from Zawiercie.
In the other Round 7 match, JSW Jastrzębski Węgiel beat newcomers InPost ChKS Chełm 3-1 (23:25, 25:23, 25:23, 25:18). The first three sets were tight, but the favorites confidently closed the fourth one without major problems.
Top scorers for the winners were MVP through 52% in attack including an ace and two blocks, Adam Lorenc with 18 points to his name, Miran Kujundzić with 16 and Michał Gierżot with 10, while Chełm’s best were Amirhossein Esfandiar with 21 points, Remigiusz Kapica with 17 and Tomasz Piotrowski with 13. The biggest difference came from errors – 30 for Chełm, 20 for the hosts.
Round 7 will continue tomorrow with other three games: Indykpol AZS Olsztyn will welcome last-placed Cuprum Stilon Gorzów, PGE Projekt Warszawa will face Ślepsk Malow Suwałki while, in the evening, Barkom Każany Lwów will welcome BOGDANKA LUK Lublin.
