France: Tours down a combative Cannes in a game that closed Round 17

Round 17 of 2025/26 MARMARA Spike League has been completed today with the clash between Tours and Cannes, ended in four sets in favor of the home side, 3-1 (24:26, 26:24, 31:29, 25:22).
After almost two hours of battle, in front of 2906 home fans, current league leaders managed to earned three points despite a powerful performance from Cannes, combative from start to finish with 25 points each from Xander Ketrzynski (all in attack, through 52%) and Joao Noleto (57% in attack and 1 block).
Nik Mujanovic also scored the same number of points for the winners (59% and 2 blocks), while libero Luca Ramon earned MVP honors.
With this victory, Tours sit to the top at +4 from their closest pursuers Montpellier and at +5 from Tourcoing, both victorious yesterday against Ajaccio and Sète, respectively.
Ligue A will continue on Friday with the advance of Round 18 between St-Nazaire and Toulouse.
