France: Toulouse sweep Narbonne in advance of Round 17

In advance of Round 17 of 2025/26 MARMARA Spike League, in front of 1,338 spectators at the Palais des Sports, Toulouse sweep Narbonne with a clean 3-0 (25:22, 25:18, 25:20) in front of their home fans after just 1 hour and 18 minutes of play, securing their third consecutive home victory.
The visiting side, who suffered their ninth consecutive away defeat, on the previous day, had announced the absence of Thibaut Thoral, still sidelined due to health issues and awaiting further tests, as well as uncertainty surrounding Michael Czerwinski, who was hospitalized overnight on January 20th with gastroenteritis, and Liam Patte, who was struggling with knee pain.
Ultimately, italian head coach Tubertini fielded Czerwinski and Patte, who boasted 14 and 8 points at the end of the match.
Pierre Derouillon led the winners with 19 points to his name through an impressive 71% in attack and 2 winning blocks, while Tibo Rippert also contributed with 12 including 1 ace and 73% in attack.
Round 17 will continue on Saturday with other 5 games, including a very important clash between Paris and Chaumont in relegation race.
