Resovia last quarterfinalist – Maaseik say good bye to 2025/26 Champions League!

Asseco Resovia Rzeszów advanced to 2025/26 CEV Champions League quarterfinals after defeating Knack Roeselare 1-3 (23:25, 25:22, 17:25, 21:25) in the playoff second leg at REO Arena.
The Polish side had already secured a strong advantage with a 3–0 win in the first match, repeating them with Thursday’s victory, dominating in attack, with an impressive 68% efficiency, and secured the final spot in the quarterfinals, where they will face Ziraat Bankkart Ankara.
Yacine Louati led Resovia with 16 points and was named MVP with his 75% in attack, two aces and two blocks, while Karol Butryn added 13.
For Roeselare, Oskar Espeland was the match’s top scorer with 17 points, while Basil Dermaux added 13.
