Italy: Piacenza tie quarterfinal series with Modena after (another) amazing five sets battle!

After a five sets battle in Game 1, in which No.5 in regular season Gas Sales BluEnergy Piacenza wasted a 0-2 led on the field of No.4 Valsa Group Modena, another thrilling game ended at tie break level quarterfinals series of 2025/26 Superlega CredemBanca at 1-1!
3-2 (18:25, 25:17, 28:30, 25:21, 18:16) is the final score, with a Piacenza who played a great game after losing a first set filled with unforced errors and imperfections, winning the second and then giving third one to the rivals after a thrilling 28-30. After winning fourth set, the decisive tie break was a battle, with the hosts who didn’t give up not even after Modena canceled two match balls in a row, than other two, to then closed with a well-deserved 18-16!
