France: Arago de Sète and 2026/27 season – departures, confirmations and new faces

Just a couple of days after elimination in semifinal of 2025/26 Marmara Spike League by Montpellier, Arago de Sète are already preparing for next season with several changes in their roster.
Between key departures and some first signings, the club from the Hérault region is getting ready to begin a new chapter of their history, to celebrate their 50th consecutive season at the highest level!

According to our (verified) sources, several protagonists of last season will no longer wear the jersey of the club in the near future, including captain Hugo De Leon, Austrian opposite Benedikt Sablatnig, who is expected to move to Belgium, setter Ángel Trinidad De Haro, probably to Ślepsk Malow Suwalki in Poland, and middle blocker Nicolas Zerba, who will wear the jersey of Germany’s Berlin Recycling Volleys.

At the same time, several other roster members have already been confirmed: libero Gage Worsley, outside hitters Nooa Marttila and Lorenz Karlitzek, and the young Jean-Marc Kalato, in addition to opposite Tristan Schlienger.

About new faces, middle blocker Médéric Henry will return to Sète, several years after his first appeareance with the club (2014-2017), together by Iranian setter Javad Karimisouchelmaei, from Itambé/Minas, Brazil and the young Kazakh player Klim Ryukhov.
