Czech Republic: Karlovarsko secured 2025/26 Extraliga title in a final showdown

VK ČEZ Karlovarsko secured the 2025/2026 Extraliga title with a home victory over VK Lvi Praha in the decisive fifth match of the finals series, taking their revenge after a Supercup defeat against the same rivals in February.
With the series level at 2–2 and each team having defended their home court throughout, Karlovarsko continued the trend in front of a lively home crowd, taking a tightly contested opening set before taking full control of the match. Their dominance left Prague struggling to respond, as the home side grew increasingly confident, 3-0 (25:22, 25:15, 25:18).
