GKS Katowice back to PlusLiga in 2026/27 season after a 3-1 win in best-of-five final series against BBTS Bielsko-Biała.
After a great regular season, closed to the top with 72 points, at +5 from Torun, they eliminated KPS Siedlce 2-0 in quarterfinals, then Mickiewicz Kluczbork in semifinals 2-1, losing at tie break on the field of the rivals Game 2, to eventually celebrated promotion in Plusliga in Final Game 4 on the field of the rivals, winning Game 1 and Game 2, 3-1 and 2-3 respectively, losing Game 3 at home in straight sets, and closing the series with a straight sets win, 0-3 (18:25, 23:25, 17:25).
Relegated in 2024/25 after 9 season in Plusliga, thus they dominated PLS 1. Liga to back to Poland’s elite competition after just one season!
