We’re already at the fifth episode of VolleyBar, the last of the week, and we’d also like to take this opportunity to thank you for all the support you’ve been giving us and for the great success of this new daily column!

First news of the day: from an experimental entity with almost no future, VolleyBar has become a confirmed column, and after the first “trial” week, we decided to continue this project!
And we’re pleased to inform you that our idea has already been copied by the same brilliant minds who have already copied and translated into Italian most of our articles about France, Turkey, and Poland. You are unbelievable — congratulations!

After one season with Cucine Lube Civitanova, Argentine international Pablo Kukartsev bids farewell to the Italian powerhouse.
During his time with the red-and-whites, he reached the Italian Championship Finals and helped secure the club’s qualification for next season’s CEV Champions League as well as the Final Four of the Del Monte® Supercoppa.

“The opportunity to represent this great club made me proud. I also feel fortunate for the privilege of sharing the court with my teammates and the coaching staff; everyone made me feel part of the Lube family, helping me grow and improve as a player.
My family also had a wonderful time in Civitanova. We leave with a touch of sadness because we truly felt at home thanks to the affection and kindness of the people around us. It was a pleasure to live in such a beautiful environment. The club, the city, and its people will always remain in our memories.
I also want to give a huge round of applause to all the fans at the Eurosuole Forum. It was incredible to play in such a warm and passionate atmosphere thanks to the energy of our supporters. With their backing, the team doubled its energy and motivation at home because the fans transmitted all of their strength and passion to us in every match. Thank you, Lube nel Cuore, for everything!” he said.

Meanwhile, Allianz Milano has confirmed libero Damiano Catania, who will wear the club’s colors for a fourth consecutive season!
Still at Allianz Milano, the new setter is expected to be Simone Porro, brother of Paolo Porro, who has been confirmed at Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza, and outside hitter Luca Porro, who starred last season for Valsa Group Modena.
After the signing of Ethan Champlin from Berlin, Cuneo Volley could also hire setter Bryan Argilagos from Sir Safety Perugia, where he won every major title.

German opposite hitter Georg Grozer, now 41 and turning 42 soon, is once again part of Germany’s national team roster for the 2026 season.

In France, Argentine Joaquín Gallego, last season in Poland with the jersey of Ślepsk Malow Suwałki, will be the new middle blocker of Tourcoing.
In Poland, French outside hitter Kevin Tillie will wear the jersey of PGE Projekt Warszawa until 2028, while Częstochowa, relegated but again in Plusliga next season, confirmed four players: Jakub Nowak, Jakub Kiedos, Tomasz Kowalski and Daniel Popiela.
Back to France, Arthur Loubeyre will be a player of Saint Nazaire also in 2026/27 season. The U22 international libero arrived there last season, at just 20 years old.

In Brazil, at 40, legendary Lucas Saatkamp, Lucão, has been awarded MVP of Superliga for second season in a row as well as best middle blocker with impressive numbers: 303 points (225 points in Superliga, 36 in Campeonato Sul-Americano per Club, 33 in Copa Brasil and 9 in Supercopa).

Now we take a break for the weekend.
VolleyBar returns on Monday, as always at 8:00 PM!
