Poland: Warszawa welcomes Roberto Piazza as new head coach!

Accompanied by striking imagery portraying the Italian coach as an orchestra conductor, Roberto Piazza has officially brought the curtain down on his seven-season tenure with Allianz Milano.
At the same time, PGE Projekt Warszawa has announced the appointment of the experienced Italian as its new head coach, signing him to a contract that will keep him in charge of the Polish capital club through 2030.

“I am very excited to return to Poland and take on the role of head coach at PGE Projekt Warszawa. Four years of challenges and hard work lie ahead of us, and I hope our efforts will bring many moments of pride and success. I look forward to seeing you all in Warsaw,” are his first words at the helm of Warszawa.
After seven seasons at the helm of Allianz Milano, Roberto Piazza leaves behind the most successful era in the club’s history, highlighted by two CEV Challenge Cup titles, first two trophies in club’s history, a historic qualification for the CEV Champions League, and multiple appearances in the SuperLega and Coppa Italia semifinals.
