Italy: Marko Podraščanin linked with Cucine Lube Civitanova management role after Cormio departure

Cucine Lube Volley Civitanova officially confirmed the departure of general manager Giuseppe Cormio, ending a decade-long partnership that coincided with one of the most successful periods in the club’s history.

Several itlaian and not only sources indicate that Marko Podraščanin is expected to retire from professional volleyball and take on a general manager role within the club.
The Serbian middle blocker, widely regarded as one of the club’s most accomplished players, enjoyed two spells with Lube, representing the italian powerhouse from 2008 to 2016 before returning in 2024.

Although an official announcement has yet to be made, he is reportedly the leading candidate to succeed Cormio and begin a new chapter with the club also off the court.
