France: slovenian setter Nejc Najdič to Nice in his first season abroad!

Slovenia National Team player Nejc Najdič, after wearing the jersey of Slovenian champions ACH Volley Ljubljana, is officially a new player of Nice Volley-Ball and, in the 2026/27 season, he will play abroad for the first time.
20-years-old player began his career at OK i-Vent Maribor and played for the Styrian top-flight club until the 2022/23 season, before moving to ACH Volley Ljubljana.
With the reigning Slovenian champions, he has won several trophies over three seasons and also competed in Champions League.
His first destination on his international journey will be Nice Volley-Ball, which finished second in the French Cup last season and ended the domestic league in eighth place.
“With great joy and motivation, I am joining a new club. I would like to thank my coaches, teammates, and everyone who has been part of my sporting journey in Slovenia. A new chapter lies ahead of me, which I accept with great responsibility, a desire to prove myself, and a readiness for hard work. I look forward to new challenges, matches, and shared goals with the team. I am confident that with dedication, team spirit, and perseverance, we will achieve excellent results together,” he said in an official statement.
In Nice, he will join 20-year-old Argentine outside hitter Fausto Diaz togethert with confirmed setter Pepin Rajoharivelo, liberos Mason Briggs and Nathan Cudeville, outside hitter Colin Castelnau, and middle blockers Rodney Ah-Kong, Lohan Nack-Minyem and Sacha Kiciak.
