Italy: Perugia one step away from final. Vibo Valentia, Piacenza, Milano and Ravenna ok for 5th place

Regular-season winners Sir Safety Conad Perugia won also Game 2 of the 2020/21 SuperLega Credem Banca playoff semifinals against no.4 Vero Volley Monza. The match ended in four sets, and partially it was 22:25, 25:22, 29:31, 15:25. Thus, the winners avoided being in the inevitable situation like in Game 1 and now needing one more win to advance to the final.

Another win for Consar Ravenna, now at the top of the standinds, at home against Kioene Padova. 3-1 (25:19, 21:25, 25:23, 25:17) is the final score. Recine led the winners’ score with 18 points, while Padova played without three starters, Wlodarczyk, Volpato and Vitelli, who remained on the bench.
Close the picture a never ending match between Allianz Milano and Top Volley Cisterna, ended at tie break (25:22, 25:22, 18:25, 35:37, 15:13). MVP of the match middle-blocker Mosca, with 11 points, 56% in attack and 2 of Milano’s 13 winning blocks, while Patry was the top scorer among the winners with 18 points, and Sabbi made 27 on the other side of the net.
