Poland: three points for Asseco Resovia and, surprisingly, GKS Katowice

Other two matches of Plusliga Round 14 were played today.
In the afternoon, Asseco Resovia of new head coach Mendez have scored another win by beating Indykpol AZD Olsztyn (and surpassed them in the charts) of new head coach Weber in straight sets 31:29, 25:22, 25:14.
Resovia’s trio Muzaj (12 points), Deroo (11 points) and Cebulj (11 points) pushed the team to the win even though the rival gave a huge resistance in the first two sets.
On the away side, Karol Butryn was the best scorer with 12 points while Torey DeFalco (with only 29% and 3% efficiency in attack), back in the sextet, had 11 points.

On the evening match, GKS Katowice have also scored an important victory to keep the playoff position.
They defeated Gdansk on the road in four sets (23:25, 25:23, 13:25, 24:26).
Tomas Rousseaux (MVP of the match with an impressive 72% in attack and 62% efficiency) led Katowice to the win with 22 points.
In Trefl Gdansk, who played without Wlazly, Kewin Sasak scored 20 points.
