The Italian Volleyball Federation (Fipav) informed that Filippo Lanza suffered an injury against France in the last round of the pool stage which will sideline him from, at least, one match.
The MRI showed that the outside hitter, backup to Juantorena and Antonov, suffered a minor injury of the psoas muscle. So Lanza will miss out the match against Turkey in the eighth-finals of EuroVolley, on Sunday, September 22.
