Italy: with a 3-1 victory over Vibo Valentia, Milano takes its first home victory in the postponement of Round 9

The Allianz Milano won the postponement of the Round 9 of italian Superlega Credem Bank. At Milano’s Allianz Cloud, the team of coach Roberto Piazza defeated the rivals of Tonno Callipo Calabria Vibo Valentia in four sets, partially 22:25, 25:17, 25:19, 25:18. This was the first home victory of the hosts, and another defeat for the Calabrians.
Before the match the Dutch opposite Nimir Abdel Aziz received the November MVP award.
After a slow start, in which the Calabrians won the first set 22:25, Milano reacted by taking over the second set 25:17 with 6 winning blocks. The third part was more fought, at least in the initial stages, even if it was always the home team that managed the advantage, with Kozamernik’s decisive block that signs the 25:19. In the fourth set Milano put the turbo by closing the match. 25:18 is the final result.
With these first 3 points won on their home court, Milano back to the fifth position in the standings with 16 points, while Tonno Callipo Calabria Vibo Valentia remained at 5 points. The two teams will be back on the field on Sunday for the Round 11: Milano will host Piacenza, while Vibo will be play away against Latina.
