The rematch of the quarterfinals of the 2020 CEV Cup between Leo Shoes Modena and GFC Ajaccio was one of the encounters in the European cups this week whose playing was under the question mark because of the coronavirus in Italy.
French media revealed that one of the main reasons why the rematch of the quarterfinals between Modena and Ajaccio (3-0 in the first leg) was postponed despite being initially scheduled to be played behind closed doors, this Wednesday. The match was about to be held in the Italian city of Modena, located in the Emilia-Romagna region, one of the most affected by the coronavirus in Italy.
