Turkish Cup: The results of the first day of the group stage

The first day of the group stage of the Turkish Cup started yesterday.
In Pool A, Istanbul BBSK beat Inegol in four sets, who paid for the absence of its 4 outside hitters, while in the other match Fenerbahce won 3 points, but surprisingly lost a set against the newcomers Altekma, also due to the bad day of Hoag (replaced by Unver). In Pool B Arkas Izmir beat Afyon 3-1, with a resounding performance of the young opposite class 2002 Efe Mandiraci, on the field instead of the newly arrived Winkelmuller. He scored 27 points, 69% in attack and 7 ace.
In Pool C, Galatasaray Istanbul literally had a hard times (and had to replace Yenipazar with Keskin) to overtake Cuban-driven Haliliye.
In Pool D Io Ziraat Bankkart Ankara, without Eksi and Atanasov, defeated the modest Arhavi in straight sets, while Solhan Spor (Kuklinski remained on the bench) was defeated by the highly rated Spor Toto Ankara with the same result.
