Aich/Dob wins Mevza League duel against Waldviertel

SK Zadruga Aich/Dob won the Austrian derby valid for Mevza League on the field of Union Raiffeisen Waldviertel, beating the rivals in four sets (19:25, 25:20, 25:20, 25:21). They managed to get their revenge for the 4-set defeat in the first leg in mid-October. Now Aich/Dob is third ahead of Union Waldviertel and behind Leader OK Merkur Maribor and defending champion ACH Volley Ljubljana.
Top scorers in Zwettl were Marek Sulc for the hosts with 23 points, and Konrad Formela who scored 26 for the winners.
The two teams will meet again on Tuesday at the start of the DenizBank AG VL top round – but in Bleiburg.
