Aich/Dob conclude their Mevza League campaign with a defeats in Ljubljana

SK Zadruga Aich/Dob ended their MEVZA League season on Thursday evening with the away game on the field of Slovenian top club ACH Volley Ljubljana.
The defending champion prevailed with a clear (25:20, 25:22, 25:20) in just 71 minutes. The austrian side were able to win six of their twelve games, which means fourth place in the charts.
In this game Aich/Dob trainer Matjaz Hafner spared some starters in view of the upcoming Austrian Volley Cup final next Sunday and DenizBank AG VL playoffs.
As in the previous season, the Mevza League Final Four will be held in Zwettl. On the last weekend in February, in addition to hosts Union Raiffeisen Waldviertel, three Slovenian teams will fight for the medals: Calcit Volley Kamnik, Merkur Maribor and ACH Volley Ljubljana. The semi-final pairings have not yet been determined as the reigning champions still has two games to play. One victory is enough for Ljubljana to win the main round.
