Other 5 matches of French Ligue A were played tonight (yesterday three points for Nice, after defeating Cambrai in four sets).
Another surprise victory for newcomers Plessis Robinson who, after a reworked Montpellier, penalized by absences, they also defeat Sète with Sclater and Karlitzek, but without Geiler.
Game well distributed for the winners with 4 double-digit players and the setter
Nevot awarded MVP of the match.
The other surprise bears the signature of Nantes who, despite the heavy absences of Bazin and Bartos (replaced by Neraudau and François) win on the field of Montpellier, still without Le Goff, but with Palacios returned to the sextet and Lyneel returned to disposition. In the 3rd set Krajcovic leaves the field due to knee problems and so, in
4th set, Palacios plays as a middle-blocker while
Lyneel is deployed in his place, as outside-hitter. MVP Argentine Tomas Lopez, who scored 23 points with 58% in attack and 1 block.
If two top teams do not score points, two others win 3-0: Chaumont, with a super performance in attack (60% of the team and the opposite Herrera, MVP of the match with 65%) beats Cannes 3-0 who tries to react with the entrances of Batak and Klyamar instead of Gelinski and Sossenheimer.
