In first match of the day in Bulgarian capital Sofia, Iran swept Canada in just three sets to return to the Top 8 (21:25, 25:27, 18:25).
In the second, Poland easily prevailed over Australia to note the fifth win in a row (25:17, 25:19, 25:14).
Close the picture the USA, who didn’t let Bulgaria improve their poor record in the competition thus far, leaving them at only one win in seven matches. On the other hand, John Speraw’s side recovered from a rather upsetting loss to Iran yesterday to move up to third place in the charts with a 6-1 score. The match ended by 3-1 (25:12, 20:25, 26:24, 25:23)
