Austria: three points for Hypo Tirol, Aich/Dob, Hartberg and defending champions Waldviertel

Round 2 of 2022/23 Austrian Volley League started today.
The reworked Hypo Tirol volleyball team celebrated second win in as many games by beating TJ Sokol V/Post SV Wien 3-1 (25:20, 25:27, 25:20, 25:20) at the start of the round on Saturday evening, despite the absence of Brazilian opposite Luan Weber.
Defending champions Union Raiffeisen Waldviertel did not show any problem in front of their home fans against VBC TLC Weiz (without Lorenz Rössl) just like a week ago in Klagenfurt. In fact, they celebrated a clear 3-0 (25:21, 25:20, 25:22) win.
Vice-champion Zadruga Aich/Dob was able to redeem himself for the defeat in Round 1 against Ried with a 3-0 (25:19, 26:24, 25:19) victory over UVC Holding Graz in their JUFA Arena in Bleiburg.
Close the picture TSV Raiffeisen Hartberg 1-3 (22:25, 25:21, 16:25, 15:25) win on the field of VBK Wörther-See-Löwen Klagenfurt, still without points. It was the first victory for the Styrians, who strengthened their roster in the summer with national team player Max Thaller.

Round 2 ends on Sunday with the duel between VCA Amstetten NÖ and UVC McDonald’s Ried.
