Austria: Amstetten defeat Ried in four sets in last match of Round 2

Round 2 e second weekend of 2022/23 Austrian Volley League has been closed today with the last match scheduled.
VCA Amstetten NÖ defeated at home UVC McDonalds Ried/Innkreis (who were not able to repeat their performance of Round 1 in which they defeated super favorite Aich/Dob) with a clear and convincing 3-0 (25:18, 25:18, 25:20), and they needed just 1 hours and 13 minutes to do it.
Interestingly, Logan House was the only player in double digit of the match, scoring 11 points on the winning side.
Amstetten was better in all element, including 9 winning blocks vs. 2, 9 aces vs. 4, but also in reception and attack.
With this win, Amstetten now has five points in the current standings, just behind the leaders Union Raiffeisen Waldviertel and Hypo Tirol Volleyballteam.

Both team, Amstetten and Ried, will start in the CEV Challenge Cup next week. The opponents are Hapoel Kfar Saba and Omonia Nicosia, respectively. While Ried will play both games (October 12th/13th) in their Raiffeisen Volleydome, Amstetten will play twice in Israel (October 11th/12th).
