Austria: straight sets win for Amstetten and Aich/Dob in last matches of Round 3

Round 3 of 2022/23 Austrian Volley League ended today with last two matches, both ended in straight sets.

VCA Amstetten NÖ needed just 74 minutes in their home game against VBK Wörther-See-Löwen Klagenfurt to achieve a clear 3-0 (25:18, 25:17, 25:12) victory. After three games, they already have eight points on their account, sharing second place in the current charts with Hypo Tirol volleyball team and the first pursuers of defending champions Union Raiffeisen Waldviertel. The team from Klagenfurt, on the other hand, is still winless. The top scorers in the Johann-Pölz-Halle were Jakub Czyzowski (19) and Michael Czerwinski (10) among the winners, while no players on the other side reached a double digit, and Steven Duzevich made 9 points.

Close the picture Zadruga Aich/Dob who prevailed over Sokol V/Post SV Wien. The runner-up prevailed 3-0 (25:18, 25:19, 25:20), and is fourth with two wins, while the team from country’s capital have not yet scored a point.
