Poland: Resovia win first game of 2023 and still leads Plusliga’s standings

First game of the year of 2022/23 Plusliga, valid for Round 18, has been played today.
Prediction respected, as current leaders Asseco Resovia Rzeszów won in four sets on the field of a combative Ślepsk Malow Suwałki – 1-3 (25:23, 19:25, 24:26, 22:25).
Poland National Team member Jakub Kochanowski was named MVP of the game with 15 points through 79% in attack and 4 winning blocks, while also Torey Defalco played a great game, ending as top scorer with 23 points, 2 blocks, 1 ace, 77% and 69% efficiency in attack.
Bartosz Filipiak scored 21 points on the losing side.
